About Philip Calhoun
An experienced engineer and business leader, Philip Calhoun studied mechanical engineering at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and a bachelor of arts in lean manufacturing management from DePaul University in Chicago. From 2008 to 2010, he simultaneously obtained a master’s degree in finance from New York University in New York City, a master’s degree in economics from the London School of Economics in London, and a master’s degree in manufacturing management from the HEC School of Management in Paris. Philip Calhoun earned all three of his master’s degrees with a cumulative grade point average of 3.9.
Since embarking on his manufacturing career as a shift manager of three production lines with Frito Lay/Pepsico in 1990, Philip Calhoun has served a number of senior management roles with Ford Motor Company. Headquartered in Farmington Hills, Michigan, since 2015, Mr. Calhoun currently serves as executive vice president of Total Quality Engineering.Education
